Most kids don't tend to act like this so it becomes clear from the get go. Another thing that sents people off his no joke and all work attitude. It's like he was acting like a adult. Yuki likes to keep his mind on his studies more then anything else and sees other things as a waste of time. In terms of friends, he doesn't have many. Yuki tends to keep to himself and ignore others a lot leading to a anti-social life. However, few people have gotten through to him in a way. When it comes to combat, he doesn't seem to like it for the same reason he doesn't like other things. He wants to focus on his studies to get into a good school. Throwing punches and getting beaten up isn't a life.
Appearance:
History: Yuki is the only son of his mother. His existence came to be when his mother was with a her boyfriend. During a night at a local bar, she had one too many drinks and gave him the perfect chance to take advantage of her. She wasn't very mad by this because her boyfriend was also under the influence to a degree as well during the event.
When she found out that she was pregnant the bastard left, and she never heard from him again. Yuki was born soon after, but there was no one to celebrate the birth. They only had each other in the world. The two would move to an apartment in downtown West City after leaving the hospital. The apartment seemed good at first, but the landlord was a selfish and greedy excuse of a human being who charged greatly.
So in order to support her child and herself she took two jobs all the while keeping her home in order. All this and she had to raise her son, but was determined to make sure that he knew that she loved and cared for him despite the little time she spends with him due to work. The large amounts of work caused her to become very stressed, and started abusing Yuki as a outlet for this stress.
She wouldn't be able to handle it though. After a long time of this she became hospitalized from over working herself so much. While being treated, Yuki was taken in by a old friend of his mother's who was traveling and just came back into town. His new home became a run down dojo in downtown where he was being taught martial arts as self defense. This family friend who was named Shuji started teaching Yuki more advance fighting methods. These fighting methods made what others would call superhuman, but he didn't seem to care much because he wanted to keep studying. But when his mom's treatment bills came, he needed money. That's when he heard of a fighting ring by the docking area.

Pre-Post Solo: It was currently just another night in the great West City and a very busy one at that. Maybe people were still out and about on the streets despite how late it was. People seemed to be out doing things relating to their jobs like staying overtime in ordered to get payed extra, having dinner meetings with co-workers and bosses, or just working long hours in general. The other majority of the people up at the moment were simply enjoying the night life and didn't care about work. Yuki was one of the many night people living in West City. However, instead of just enjoying the sight of stars blanked over the night sky, he had other plans that need attention. That could raise a red flag in some cases because of the fact that he wasn't a teenager yet, and he still had plans for himself at this time.
There were a few times in his life when Yuki asked himself a question. What do other people think kids like to do now a days? If anyone heard him say it aloud, they would probably give the young boy a weird look. It would have been a understandable response in reality though. Seriously what kid would even ask a question like that?
He has always kept this question to himself for this reason alone, but just because he never asked anyone doesn't mean that he didn't have a idea. Well it wasn't much of a idea other then knowing a few of the basics. People around his age play a lot, don't care about school, and still think that girls are infectious or whatever it was called. What he did was much different in comparison to them.
The young boy found himself maneuvering himself through various alleyways in the darkness of the late night. The setting could scare any child, but he kept himself in calm and collected. His current laid back attitude was shown in how his hands were buried in the pockets of his gray, worn out, and baggy pants. The only sound that could have been heard was the clicking of his sandles until there was a different sound behind him. The sound of another set of footsteps before there was a clicking noise.
"Hand over whatever money you have! Now!" The man yelled out holding a pistol to Yuki's head. He expected the child to do what was told of him, and hand over his possessions. Instead, he started turning around on his heel facing the mugger face to face. Yuki's expression was hidden under the shadow casted under the hood of his jacket, but it was obvious that there was no signs of fear on him. Just a neutral expression plastered on him while his eyes scanned the mugger. He kept his breathing steady, his hand wasn't shaking in fear, his finger was on the trigger, and he was perfectly calm. This is what he respected because it showed that this person wouldn't hesitate to do what he needed. However, the fact that this person would dare pull a deadly weapon on a child was unforgivable.
Others in his position would have been beating on this the moment the weapon was taken out. But, he wasn't like most people. Yuki only released an annoyed sigh from his mouth before turning on his heels back in his original direction. The man who was trying to mug him pulled his finger back where the trigger of his gun was, but was shocked to find that it wasn't in his hand anymore.
The walk here took a little longer then expected, but it will be worth it in the end. His eyes darted around seeing cargo containers stacked up and lined up as far as the eye can see. In his hand was the same gun that was gonna be used againest him. A low grunt escaped him the moment after throwing the pistol towards the ocean in front of him. After sighing in relief and running a hand through his bangs, he would move on with his business. He didn't need the trouble of being found with a gun on him.
Yuki found himself within a crowd of people moments after arriving at the shipping docks. In the center of that crowd was what they were all there for. A single fighting ring walled off with a metal fense.
"Welcome everyone to the ring! Challengers please step up!" The announcer, a rather large and round man yelled out with enthusiasm towards the crowd. This crowd was a mix of regular people and fighters. People who pushed themselves each day to surpass their own limits for various reasons. Some to challenge themselves, some for fame, others for profit. There were those who also fought because they needed to in order to get by. It was arguable that he was in that category.
Yuki wasn't someone who enjoyed fighting like others in the fighting community did. The only reason he was able to fight was because of his guardian's mandatory training. If it was up to him, he wouldn't know how to fight at all. So why was he currently at a fighting ring? Simply put it that, he needed to get by. His mother's treatment bills recently came in and it was a lot more then a child could ever have. Logically, he expected Shuji to pay for it, but surprisingly this wasn't the case.
The man wasn't gonna pay a cent for her enraging the boy. One of them would have ended up hospitalized if it wasn't for what Shuji told him. He told him to come to this ring and fight for the money like everyone there did. In other words the damn bastard trapped him in a corner by forcing him to fight. Why the hell did he do this to him anyway?! That was a question he didn't have a answer to at the moment.
"Ok kid you can go up in there, but don't start crying when you get a boo boo or something. Just tag out when it starts to get too hard for you." The announcer told the child and held the door out for him. Yuki didn't seemed offended though. He expected this sort of reaction at a kid like him wanting to fight.
He stood a few feet away from his opponent. He was a hell of a lot taller then him with big muscles. An intimidating sight to many, but not him. "This is my opponent? You got to be kidding me what's he's gonna do play slap me to death?!" The fighter mocked in a laugh earning the laughter of everyone in the crowd, but the only thing that he resgistered was the announcement of the fight beginning.
Within a second of the fight starting, his opponent's laughter was cut off only to be replaced with the gasping sound of someone who was in need of air. Yuki's fist dug into his chest before allowing him to fall flat on his back unable to fight any longer. The crowd was in dead silence from this unexpected turn of events. Did he over do it? No, he knew what he signed up for even if he was a child.
